Specialised analysis bots orchestrated
The challenge
Modernising legacy applications meant analysts reading source code, database schemas, user interfaces and documentation separately, then stitching their findings into one picture by hand.
What we proposed
- RouterBot, an orchestration layer that routes questions to four specialised bots: CodeDoc for source repositories, SchemaScan for databases, UIAudit for front ends and DocReview for documentation.
- Findings aggregated into one report covering business logic, validations, database and API calls, UI complexity and documentation gaps.
- Secure access through Cognito and an API gateway, running on ECS.
Projected impact
- Documentation projected to be produced 70% faster.
- Analyst effort projected to fall by 43%.
- A single, consistent view of each application before modernisation starts.
